Madison Square Garden is probably the most famous sports arena in the world, save perhaps the Coliseum in Rome. Located above Penn Station on 34th Street, the Garden is home to the NBA’s Knickerbockers, the NHL’s Rangers, and the WNBA’s Liberty. It also plays host to numerous other events such as Ringling Bros. Barnum & Baily Circus, Championship Boxing, World Wrestling Federation Events, and more. Naturally, the Garden has become one of the premier concert venues for the top names in music. The Garden occupies about 820,000-square-feet of land, is comprised of a 20,000-seat main arena, the 40,000-square-foot Expo Center, The Theater (old Paramount Theater), two restaurants and 89 club suites.
