View New York City from the top of the Empire State Building, on either the 86th floor or 102nd floor Observation Deck. Both a U.S. National Historic Landmark and one of the most recognizable structures in the world, the Empire State Building stands 1,454 feet tall.
Ever since this Art Deco-styled building was built in 1931, it has entertained visitors from all over the world - over 117 million to date. It's especially spectacular over assorted holidays during the year, when the top portion is lit up in coordinating colored lights.
The Observation Decks are open 365 days a year. Enjoy the multimedia presentation of New York called ''The New York Skyride'' with a three-minute video introduction from Comedy Central followed by a seven-minute motion simulator ride that takes you on a helicopter ride through New York City.
Inside the Empire State Building, you'll also find three restaurants, three coffee shops, specialty boutiques, a post office and two banks.
