The Asia Society seeks to educate the public and improve East-West relations with art exhibitions, performances, films, lectures, seminars and conferences. It also provides publications, assistance to the media, and materials and programs for students and teachers.
The collection of diverse art was enhanced by the contribution of over 300 works from the travels of Mr. and Mrs. John D. ROckefeller. Expect to find bronzes, sculpture, paintings, ceramics and more from 2000 B.C. to the 19th century. Objects are continually added.
